The Surrounding area

The Moulin de Beaunette is located in the heart of the Drôme valley. Situated on the Clairette de Die road (AOC sparkling wine) you are close to towns where it is nice to stroll through the streets (medieval town of Crest and its Donjon, Saillans, Die) but also close to the picturesque hilltop villages of Cliousclat and Mirmande offering beautiful views of the valley. There are many mountain bike circuits starting from Grâne. The place also allows you to benefit from outdoor activities: hiking trails in particular « Les 3 Becs » and aquatic hikes (descending the Drôme river by canoe or kayak), climbing 7kms and treetop adventure park 11kms away. Many museums and caves are also nearby.  The markets in Crest and in Saillans which have many local products.
